Diakonos Retreat Society currently operates Diakonos Homes in Calgary and Edmonton.
 
These residential homes are available to all peace officers, firefighters and emergency services members, their spouses, and civilian members of these organizations.

What can Diakonos House be used for?

A refuge during a separation or a divorce until other processes can be put into place.

Separations where couples are working out marriage issues.

Medical situations where overnight accommodations are necessary (particularly for out of town officers).

Is Diakonos House confidential?

Absolutely! Only the intake coordinators and the house attendant need to know who is using the house.
